Berlin am Meer | Berlin by the Sea

Paying homage to Ahrenshoop and its new art museum, Berlin gallery-owner Dieter Brusberg is curating “Berlin am Meer”, an exhibition that takes its title from works by Werner Heldt.
The exhibition is shown in Galerie Peters-Barenbrock in the Grand Hotel Kurhaus Ahrenshoop from 30 August 2013 to 28 February 2014. Alongside works by Werner Heldt, Max Pechstein, Kurt Schwitters, Ernst Wilhelm Nay, Hans Laabs, Hans Uhlmann and Burkhard Held, Dieter Goltzsche, Horst Antes, Pit Kroke and Rolf Szymanski, the exhibition in Ahrenshoop also presents two young contemporary artists: Torsten Warmuth and painter Vincent Wenzel.
The Edition Brusberg Berlin published its 96-page “Kabinettdruck No. 45” for the exhibition “Berlin am Meer”.
